06 May Case Study: Private Development in the Vale of White Horse
We were approached by a local architect team to assist in a scheme at a private residence in the Vale of White Horse district. The client’s vision was to convert an existing outbuilding into an annexe by extending and adding a two story gable.
We identified a single tree which would require removal in order to facilitate the proposed plans, and subsequently drew up a Tree Removal and Protection Plan with accompanying Arboricultural Method Statement which together would inform all contractors of the required tree protection methods.
Alongside the replacement planting schedule submitted by the landscape architects, these formed part of the formal application. Permission was granted, listing adherence to the Tree Removals and Protection Plan as one of the planning conditions.
