The Marlborough School – Meet the Employer Event

For the third year in a row we were delighted to attend the ‘Meet the Employer’ event at The Marlborough Church of England School in Woodstock.

The event has been set up to enable year 8 pupils to meet local employers and understand the pre-requisites and expectations of various jobs.

Similar to other events we have attended, Steve wasn’t surprised when the majority of students confirmed that they had never heard of an arboricultural consultant. However, many expressed a keen interest in jobs that benefited nature or the environment.

Hopefully Steve has inspired at least one pupil to consider a nature-based career in the future.
