Case Study: Private Development in the Cotswolds

We were asked to provide arboricultural advice regarding the extension and redevelopment of a cottage in the Cotswolds. Plans included a subterranean parking area, which had potential to impact a group of trees in the neighbouring garden.

We carried out a survey and attended the digging of several investigatory trenches which revealed the presence, or lack, of roots extending into the proposed site.

Based on the findings from these trial digs we were able to assist the client in submitting a robust proposal which enabled the intended design scheme without causing any significant implications to the trees which bordered it.

If you need assistance on any schemes where trees may need to be considered, get in touch (info@treefrontiers.com)
