Project Brief:
To undertake a tree inventory and condition survey of trees on a private property.
Our task was to record every tree on the site and provide recommendations for either remedial works or proactive works. This was part of a feasibility study to redesign the landscape elements of a private property.
A dual approach to the survey not only ensures that the client satisfies their duty of care in regards to managing risk from trees to members of the public, but also provides a catalogue of trees within the site. The latter of which will be utilised to determine whether the retention and implementation of proactive works will benefit the longevity of the trees and wider landscape. Or, whether removal and replacement as part of the redesigned landscape will be a more practical solution.
